The Perfect Dress
And I'm typically a size 28. I was thrilled to see that the dress was available in a 28 and in a store in my area! It's relatively cheap, too, since it's supposed to be a bridesmaid's dress. I emailed the store and asked a few questions about it and turns out the dress I wanted was a *small* size 28 and that's the largest size they make it in.
By looking around online, I was hoping to have either just one dress to try on in-store, or maybe a specific list before I made my decision, but I've had a decent experience with this place communicating via email, so I'm inclined to go in and take a look around and see if I can find anything there that's very similar.
Not sure when I'll be doing that, but hopefully in the next week or two.

Success!

Strapless, trumpet silhouette, beaded, sequined, belled AND whistled! There it is, and available in sizes 2 - 32 at THIS WEBSITE.
Okay, so maybe this one was relatively easy, but that's the kind of thing I want to do with this blog. Let me know what it is that you can't find and I'll find it! Let's prove that you don't need to look like an old lady when you dress up or down.

Oh, to look beautiful on your wedding day...
Picture it ladies: The Dress.
You've been imagining this dress since you saw your first Disney movie. A wedding cake in motion; strapless, beaded, bustled, six feet wide, and a veil so long it doesn't even make it all the way in the door for the ceremony.

Your man pops his question and you're SO excited. You can see yourself wearing it already. And so you begin to search for ideas.
"WOW these dresses all look so good! It doesn't matter that the dresses I'm looking at here only go up to a size 8. I'm only looking for now. Hmm, These ones only go up to a size ten. Oh, well."
Give it a few months and you've found this irresistible sequined trumpet dress and you're sure you would look fabulous on you.
"But it only goes up to a size 16!"
So you hit up Google. Google knows EVERYTHING after all!
"Okay, searching for 'Plus Size trumpet wedding dress.'"
And you find a few things that look pretty close. One is about right, but it has these ugly sleeves, another is really nice, and comes in a size *gasp* 26! But you need a 28 or 30 or 32.
So now what?
"I don't know. I really wanted that dress, but if it's not in my size.... I guess I can find something else."
EXACTLY!!!
That's the problem I'm hoping to solve by starting this blog. Yeah, that was a rather round-about way of saying it, but there are so many girls out there (and boys!) who can really identify with this issue.
I don't want you to have to find something else. No more compromising. I know there's SOMEONE who makes a size 30 trumpet dress out there, and I aim to find them. You just watch. My next post is going to be my proof that ANYTHING is possible if you just spend a little time searching around.
